Terms of service

The deal between you and AbraFile. Plain English, no surprises.

Last updated 19 June 2026.

This is placeholder copy describing how AbraFile actually handles your data and your account. It is not legal advice; the operator will have it reviewed by a solicitor before launch.

Using the service

AbraFile converts files between formats. You may use it for anything lawful you have the rights to.

You may not use AbraFile to:

We may suspend or remove access for behaviour that breaks these rules.

Accounts

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live (16 in the UK). One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account.

Plans and billing

Four tiers — Anonymous, Starter, Pro, Power. Limits and prices are listed on the pricing page and are subject to change with notice.

When a subscription lapses or a trial ends without payment, files enter a 30-day grace period before deletion. Re-subscribing during that window restores access.

Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable.

Files and content

You keep all ownership of files you upload and of any converted output. We claim no licence over your content beyond what is needed to run the conversion you asked for. See the privacy policy for retention rules and what we do not do.

No warranty

AbraFile is provided as-is. Conversion is a best-effort transformation; we do not warrant that every conversion will be perfect for every input or that the service will be uninterrupted. Always keep your original.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, AbraFile is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for things that cannot be limited by law (such as fraud, or death and personal injury caused by negligence).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and to subscribed users by email; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be heard by the courts of England and Wales.
